In Tampere’s Niemenranta, there stands a distinct group of seven residential buildings along Raamikatu street as its own cohesive entity. The buildings Rantaraitti, Rantapolku, Rantakoivu, Rantapoukama, Rantakivi, and Rantapuisto are all equipped with slanting gabled roofs and finished in muted colour tones. The buildings are situated right on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi.
The group of seven buildings comprises three tall 8-story buildings located on the edge of the forest, a connecting parking garage, and four shorter buildings. Many apartments’ windows open to stunning lake views. One of the shorter buildings serves as a pilot project for wooden element construction. Parking is located beneath the courtyards of the buildings.
Niemenranta is a park-like and tranquil residential area with excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and convenient public transportation connections.
