Need assessment for Upper Secondary School of Tampere Lyceum<\/h1>\n\n\n

The Upper Secondary School of Tampere Lyceum is built in 1935 and was designed by A. V. Illberg and H. \u00c5berg. The building is historically valuable and represents functionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tasks were to arrange the spaces for the new ways of learning and to study the needs for the renovation. The design was executed in co-operation with the staff and the students as participatory design process. As the building is historically valuable, close co-work was done with the building control services and the Finnish Heritage Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design process was executed by using co-creation methods. The aim was to support multi-field working. Moreover, adaptation into the possible poist-pandemic changes in the use of spaces was taken into consideration, for example, hybrid learning and teaching.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
