The Suurpelto block, located at Linda Tannerin kuja 1, consists of four apartment buildings. As Oy Espoon Altto and As Oy Espoon Baritoni collectively stand as a sculptural landmark, bordering Tea Ista Square. The square connects to street-level commercial spaces and a glass-walled service lobby that links the buildings. As Oy Espoon Sopraano and As Oy Espoon Tenori are situated within the park environment.
The buildings within the block form pairs of colours, with two in warm light tones and two in dark brick masses. The balcony backgrounds echo the colour of the adjacent building. Along the long side of the buildings, there is an artful crest at the top. The buildings’ appearance is lightened by the delicate openings in the balcony facades created by slender brick elements.
There are a total of 169 apartments in the complex. All apartments feature high floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony or terrace that spans the width of the apartment.
